7:30 - 8:30am - Registration and Breakfast

8:30 - 8:50am - Welcome & Opening Remarks

8:55 - 9:35am - Keynote: Creating Your Own Field of Dreams

Making a shift from a reactive, siloed risk management program to and ERM program that’s proactive and strategic can seem overwhelming. It’s a deviation from how organizations tend to handle regulatory expectations, and can even seem scary.

The important thing is to balance your fear with the data to understand what can strengthen your organization. We’re here to help you build your own risk-based program so you can make strategic decisions that go well beyond meeting a compliance mandate. As the saying goes, “if you build it…”

9:40 - 10:35am - It's What The Pros Use: WolfPAC Product Update

Whether they're playing basketball or badminton, cricket or curling, serious athletes use high quality equipment because they know it's essential for good performance. This also means that the tools they use are always improving to help people hit harder, shoot farther, and run faster than they ever have.

You are no different. You need solutions that are going to help you work faster and smarter. That's why we're excited to show you some of the enhancements we've made to WolfPAC that will help you do just that.

11:50 - 12:45pm - The Play-By-Play: The Need and Use of Incident Management

If you’ve watched a sporting event, you’ve probably heard various announcers calling out each play, strategy, and player as they’re seeing it. That real-time information gives insight to everyone, and ties the game together in a way no individual player on the field could.

Incident management is your team’s announcer. It works as a command center, collecting data during an event that you and your team can update and learn from. In this session, you’ll be introduced to the WolfPAC incident management functionality. Hear how it works, what you can do with it, and how it will help you to manage and track your activities if you experience a business interruption.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Understand how incident management fits into overall Business Continuity
  • Learn how to use the new functionality to manage an interruption while it’s happening
  • See the impact of this information during and after the recovery process

12:45 - 1:40pm - Lunch

1:45 - 2:35pm - Player Perspectives

You don't just learn from your coaches. Sometimes, your teammates can give some of the best insights, through their experiences as another player on the field. They have been learning the same drills you are, and probably have similar frustrations and successes.

That's why it's important to hear some of the problem solving and processess of other people within the WolfPAC community! We will have one of our clients speak on some of the pain they've experienced - and how they resolved it.

In this session, you'll:

  • Hear from a peer on how they are managing risk at their organization
  • Receive their takeaways to bring home to your team

2:40 - 3:35pm - The Game-Winning Strategy: Our ERM Program Framework

It isn’t enough for an athlete to simply be strong or fast. They need to couple their physical capabilities with a thoughtful strategy to secure a victory. Everyone needs to understand how each play works, how their position impacts the entire team, and their role in executing a game-winning strategy.

Enterprise Risk Management works similarly. In order to be successful, your strategy needs to be thoughtfully developed and implemented across your organization. In this session, we are going to introduce some of the changes we will be making to the Enterprise Risk Management function in WolfPAC, based on the feedback we’ve received from our user group community!

In this session, you’ll:

  • Hear how the results from our user community impacted our plans
  • Get an initial look at our innovative ERM developments
  • See how these changes will benefit your organization’s risk management strategy

Moving from the minor league to the majors is a big jump. You and your team might have been doing really well, but it's nothing compared to the capabilities in this new arena.

We have always been a group of innovators, but now we've moved to the next level! In this session, we're going to talk about our IT 4.0 module and migration. You'll learn what's different with this shift, specifics about your migration, and a demonstration on using all the new functionality.

9:50 - 10:45am - Post-Game Interview: How to Successfully Communicate and Report to the Board

After a big game, athletes have multiple interviews asking them their opinions on how the game went, how they felt they played, and what could have been better. The answers to those questions are likely to look different whether the player is speaking to their coach, a sportscaster, or their families. It's important that the player knows what to say to each to successfully get their point across.

Communicating your risk management program is critical to get buy-in, to get budget, and to get things done. Learning what information needs to be reported to your board (and how) is going to help you considerably. In this session, we'll show you what you need to know to make sure you're giving your executive group exactly what they need, in a way that is actionable.

In this session, you'll:

  • Learn best practices for communicating about risk management with different levels in your organization
  • Understand how to build management and board meeting agendas that support your objectives
  • Have an opportunity to share some of your communication difficulties to get peer and expert insights

You won't get far in any sport if you aren't playing by the rules. You'll be stopped, and the issue will be addressed before you go any further. Similiarly, if you aren't meeting your regulatory requirements, your examiner and auditor will notice.

Building a robust monitoring program will help you meet regulatory standards and build a culture of compliance within your organization that becomes strategic rather than reactive. We'll give you the insight you need to not only play by the rules, but excel by them, too.

In this session, you'll:

  • Hear how monitoring fits into your compliance program
  • Get best practices for creating a robust monitoring plan
  • Understand how to use the WolfPAC product to support your compliance program

1:55 - 2:50pm - Team Captain: How to Lead the Risk Assessment Project

The 'C' stitched onto a jersey isn't just a letter. It symbolizes that you're the one who's going to lead: to be the example, to perform at the highest calibur, and to effectively support your team through the match.

We're providing you a look into the variables that can take a team off-course, and how you, as a leader, can help keep everyone working most effectively. We're even going a step further to provide you with some concepts that will get you to that MVP status. This session will have a component of audience participation, so come prepared with challenges you're experiencing with your own risk management program!

In this session, you'll:

  • Learn how to structure your ERM program for success
  • Avoid the pitfalls that can undermine your team's effort
  • Receive the insight you need to become an ERM MVP
